Establishing the price point for a new product or service can be incredibly difficult - we meet customers and get a positive reaction to the new product idea, but finding the answer to the question “So how much shall we charge?” doesn't seem any nearer. This session explores techniques for establishing the price point for new products.

Great topic. It would also be interesting to get thoughts on how to play with the 'free trial' period and how long to offer that, in order to build some traction before charging the price we seem more appropriate for the product.

For an early product, I believe that having a pricing strategy is really important. As our product has evolved we've had to revise our pricing a few times. Tangled into this is the issue of grandfathering, communication and timing. Would be good to discuss this too.
